Dementia theerapy with Indeloxazine Hel

Abstract
|
|
|
From October 1988 to March 1989, total 23 dementia cases, visited our department, were treated with Indeloxazine 20mg t.i.d. daily for 1.5 to 4.5 months.
The results are as follows
1. Ten cases did not respond to the f at assessment of the efficacy of the remedy.
2. Age was mostly over 50. The .cases were consisted of brain atrophy 6,. cerebral infarction 5, Parkinsonism 1, and Parkinsonism with brain atrophy 1.
3. Improvenent of the psychiatric symptoms was seen in 58.3%, especially in volition, m ory and emotion, and the neurological.symptoms 41.7%.
4. I.Q was improved in 91.7% of the cases, and more than moderate in 58.3%.
5. Over-all effect of the drug was more than slight improvement 84.6%, more than mod-rate 69.2%, marked 15.4% and no effect 15.4%.

7. There was no side effect except in 2 cases, where BUN in 1 and neutral fat in 2 were creased slightly, but their relationship with the drug was uncertain.
